Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ACT (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile app that plays short voice reminders to help you stay on track. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, write to mutlus682@gmail.com.

2. Information stored on your device

ACT works without an account. Everything you set up in the app is saved only in the app’s storage on your phone:

We do not upload this information to our own servers, and we cannot see it. It is not used to identify you.

3. Your own voice files

With the “your own voice” feature you can choose audio files from your phone to be played as reminders. ACT does not record audio and does not use your microphone. The files you pick are copied into the app’s storage on your device and are never uploaded by us. You can remove them in the app at any time.

4. Notifications and alarms

To deliver reminders on time, ACT asks for permission to show notifications. On iPhone, reminders are marked Time Sensitive, so if you allow it they can reach you during a Focus such as Do Not Disturb. On Android, focus sessions use the “Alarms & reminders” permission so each nudge arrives at the exact minute, and ACT restores your reminders after your phone restarts. These permissions are used only to play your reminders. You can turn them off in your phone’s settings, but reminders may then arrive late or not at all.

5. Ads (free plan)

The free plan shows ads provided by Google AdMob. You can also choose to watch a short rewarded ad to unlock your own voice for one hour, once a day. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as:

This information is collected and processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can learn more on how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. On iPhone, ACT also asks for your permission before the advertising identifier can be used for tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s Google or privacy settings. ACT Plus subscribers don’t see ads.

6. Purchases (ACT Plus)

ACT Plus subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store on iPhone, and by Google through Google Play on Android. Apple and Google handle your payment details under their own privacy policies, and we never receive your card or bank information. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account. To check whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service that receives your purchase records from Apple or Google together with a random app user ID, under the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. This lets the app unlock Plus features on your device.

7. Sharing your information

We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t share the data stored in the app with anyone. The only third parties involved are Google AdMob for ads, Apple and Google Play for purchases and RevenueCat for checking subscriptions, as described above.

8. Keeping and deleting your data

Data stays on your phone until you delete it. You can remove individual items in the app, or delete everything at once by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling ACT. Information collected by Google for ads is kept according to Google’s own policies.

9. Children

ACT is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the app. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will help.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or Türkiye’s KVKK give you rights to access, correct or delete your personal data and to object to certain processing. Because ACT keeps your data only on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app or by deleting it. For data processed by Google for ads, or by Apple or Google for purchases, you can use the controls they provide. For anything else, email us at mutlus682@gmail.com.

11. Security

Your data is protected by your phone’s own security, such as your lock screen. Please keep your device secure, since anyone with access to your unlocked phone can open the app.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app uses information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app or in its App Store and Google Play listings.
